Oprah had a show on transgender kids.I didn?t see it, heard it was incredible. The kids weren?t adolescents but young kids, like 4, 9 and 11. A couple of them have parents who were supporting them living as the gender they feel they are.I personally know one transman whose mother opened up to his identity after seeing the show in a way she hadn?t before. It was a powerful, healing show for his family.A therapist was on the show was also really supportive of the kids.� I remember when Oprah was not even positive about gay and lesbian people, and now she?s out there helping spread a liberation message regarding gender. Go Oprah.
