This month, our choice for Babeland's Babe of the Month was clear: no one other than Savage Love's Dan Savage! It was by no means a difficult choice, considering the amazing things that Dan has done this month for LGBT Youth by launching the "It Gets Better" Project, a video campaign designed to let at risk LGBT kids know that there is a life beyond their experience of bullying and isolation in schools. In fact, we were so inspired by him that we made our own videos too, for our New York City and Seattle locations, and blogged about it! He's spoken to numerous media outlets regarding the project and has garnered videos from amazing advocates and allies, including Kate Bornstein (our Babeland Pick for "It Gets Better"!), Tim Gunn and Hilary Clinton. He continues to fight the good fight by speaking boldly in his column, regarding the severity of LGBT youth suicides. Thank you, Dan, for being an amazing sex educator and advocate for LGBT rights.
