15 Ways to Enjoy Your Rabbit Vibrator
by Kathy McGuire
Ahh, the beloved Rabbit. Perhaps the most well-known vibrator today, the Rabbit Vibrator was popularized by an episode of the now-classic series "Sex and the City."
Despite being imitated by many, there is really only one true original, made by Vibratex. Don't be fooled by cheaper knock-offs; they aren't as well-made or artfully designed. The Vibratex Rabbit Vibrator comes in two different incarnations, known as the Elastomer Rabbit Habit (self-contained battery pack ? nice if you don't want a cord getting in the way) and the Rabbit Pearl (attached battery pack ? nice for use with a partner, or if you'd rather see the controls as you use them).
What's so special about the Rabbit Habit and the Rabbit Pearl vibrators? Well, they're designed to stimulate three key zones at once: your clit (via the vibrating bunny ears), your vaginal opening (thanks to the tumbling pearls), and your G-spot (via the rotating head). Whether you've owned one for years, are a newcomer, or are curious about all the hype you've heard, we invite you to try a few time-tested Rabbit tricks!
- Lube the Bunny. Lube up your pet using your favorite water-based lubricant. Applying lube to the rabbit vibrator's shaft can feel a bit naughty and gives new meaning to the phrase "pet your bunny."
- Let the Bunny Roam. Let your whole body enjoy what the bunny has to offer by running it along your neck, nipples, stomach and inner thighs before inserting it.
- Jerk off the Bunny. Ever wondered what it's like to jack off like a guy? Turn your Rabbit around so that the bunny's head is towards you and the shaft is facing away, so the back of the bunny's head is up against your clit. Use the shaft to jack off as though it were your own cock. Try using varying amounts of lube, and alter the speed and depth of you strokes to see what kind of friction and style you like best.
- Blow the Bunny. Why not? Even bunnies like to lie back and let someone else do the work for a change. Practice your blow job skills on the bunny, or just moisten up the toy a bit before inserting it.
- Ride the Bunny. Insert your toy and play with all the variations until you find your favorite. Experiment with the vibration and the dildo rotation both on at the same time, and then try them separately. Try switching from slow and soft to hard and fast thrusts. Jiggle, spin, and wind the Rabbit Vibrator around inside of you while changing speeds.
- Grip the Bunny. Make sure to hold firmly onto the base so the arc of the shaft really moves while inside you - otherwise, most of the rotation will occur outside your body! You can also gently bend the shaft before inserting (make sure the toy is off when you bend the shaft), and this will increase the arc of the rotation.
- Position the Bunny. Experiment with your toy: lay on it, bend over, or squat on top of it. Unlike others of its kind, the attachment between the bunny and shaft is hard and offers further vaginal stimulation. The shaft twirls around inside of you like a windmill; it's a sensation that's hard to forget.
- Rock the Bunny. Your own body's movements are just as important as the speed settings. Use your hips, crunch your stomach, or cross your legs back and forth like scissors.
- Squeeze the Bunny. The Rabbit is a great toy to clench your PC muscles around, since you can actually feel the tumbling balls begin to slow down as your muscles bear down on them.
- Squash the Bunny. If the vibration from the bunny ears is not intense enough, press down on the bunny so it drives the vibrations further into your clit. (Or lie on top of it, so the bunny is squashed into your clit.) Feel free to give the bunny a rest and experiment with other vibrators on your clitoris.
- Invite the Bunny in Through the Backdoor. A favorite trick of Rabbit users is to twist the toy around and let the ears pulsate around the opening of your anus. Be sure not to twist it back around to your vagina after it's been around your anus for hygienic reasons.
- Sheath the Bunny. Once you've begun playing around the edges of your anus, it's hard to stop there. Before the shaft's smiley face meets your bum, be sure to put a condom on your toy to keep it free from bacteria that is harmful to your vagina's ecosystem. Similarly, if you're going to share your Rabbit Vibrator with a partner, put a condom on it during use.
- Send the Bunny on a Hunt. A woman who's using the bunny anally may feel indirect stimulation on her G-spot. A man can also use the Rabbit Vibrator anally to stimulate his prostate, and position the bunny ears over the perineum. Anal stimulation will be heightened by the internal rotating pearls.
- Bring a friend for the Bunny. If you want to experiment with double penetration, have your partner place a penis or dildo in your anus, and then insert your Rabbit Vibrator vaginally. Your partner will feel the rabbit's tumbling pearls and vibration through the thin wall separating the vagina and anus, and you'll enjoy the thrill of being truly filled up.
- Bathe your Bunny. Take good care of your Vibratex Rabbit Vibe and it'll take good care of you. Wash it up with hot, soapy water when you're finished and let it air dry before you put it away. For quick clean-up without ever leaving the bed, try Babeland Fresh Wipes.
The Menagerie
The Elastomer Rabbit Habit and Rabbit Pearl vibrators are actually part of a veritable menagerie of elegantly-crafted battery vibrators often referred to as "dual-action" toys (because they are designed to simultaneously stimulate a woman's clit and pussy). The gorgeous and rechargeable (battery-free!) Ina, which doesn't use moving parts, contains two independent motors to zip back and forth between your G-spot and clit.
